Communication

IMPORTANT: Communication is important and it is possible I may need to ask you a question during the production process so that your products are made exactly how you would like them. I always communicate to the email you provided, so it is important that you set up your account with an email address you read.

Wood that I use:  I use wood machining tools and my own hands to craft every item out of the best quality wood I can find from sustainable and responsibly harvested and recycled barn woods.  No plywood is used when making my weaving tools except when requested. Each item may have its own quirky marks of character. Your item may include beautiful marks from the trees life, such as small scratches, scars, freckles and Knots.  Sometimes I may be out of one wood or another for the stick inkle shuttles. Generally this is Cherry or Maple.  If I am out of the one you ordered I will send what I have.  This is just for the small stick shuttles, other shuttles I will contact you for more information.

HANDMADE:  I design, cut, sand, wax and if requested personalize your new tool, so your item may have slight imperfections and no two items will look exactly alike.  Wood is never thrown away because of these imperfections and do not affect the use of the tool.   If you desire perfectly factory made weaving tools, made with perfectly smooth defect free woods that look exactly like the other mass produced factory weaving tools that were sold yesterday this product may not be for you.  I am not able to hand do a factory finish and give you low cost tools.  Keep this in mind.

Shipping times: this is an estimate and could ship sooner or later than the date provided.  I ship via USPS for most items and larger items ship out FedEx.   All orders are made in the order they were received.  If I get behind I will shut down my shop to catch up.

There are sometimes delays due to holidays, weather conditions, influx in orders all in a single day and other unknown reasons. Once items are shipped and leave our workshop, all timing variables are out of my control.

Thank you so very much for your support and for supporting small business!

All my best,
Janet
