This is a Charkha spindle shuttle. It is made to hold the original book Charkha spindles only (6.5 inch). It comes with a bobbin rod so that you can use the shuttle with regular plastic 4.5" handywoman or Schacht bobbins. It does not include the spindle.
These are approximately 11.5" long and 1.5" tall and 1.5" wide.  The shuttle pictured is Olivewood
These are made on purchase and ship in about 5 days.
Handywoman shop will close on November 17, 2024 and reopen on January 5th 2025.  No orders will be taken during this time and payment processing will be turned off.   All orders taken before shutting down will be shipped out as usual rest assured your orders will not be delayed at all by my closing.  USPS is slower during these last few months of the year so plan ahead.
