This is a rigid heddle loom Swedish boat shuttle with closed bottom.  This shuttle is approx1.5 x.75x12.25 in size and has a closed bottom.   The slim Swedish plastic bobbins or the 6" paper quills work with this shuttle.  
This shuttle is made to pass through the narrow warp of a rigid heddle loom or for end of warp weaving on a large floor loom.
