Medium Custom Tapestry Loom

This custom handmade tapestry loom was prominently displayed at the Arts and Craft Museum as part of the exhibit "Tools of the Trade." These tapestry looms are ideal for creating beautiful wall hangings or for sampling new yarns. 
This is the Medium loom with 8epi warp bars, measuring approximately 8x12 inches, with a weaving area of 7.75x8.5 inches.
The warp bars have been meticulously cut with the grain to ensure that the ends will not snap off under normal use. Each tooth has been sanded by hand and then further refined with a hand sander, undergoing this process five times, as demonstrated in the video. These teeth are robust enough to handle your weaving needs. 
The loom is finished with shellac and wax to achieve the polished appearance seen in the pictures. With this purchase, you will receive:

Each loom is handmade, and imperfections are part of their unique charm. Please be aware that we do not accept returns or exchanges for manufacturing faults, such as the loom not being perfectly square or teeth bending due to improper removal of your project. I recommend taking a weaving class or watching instructional videos before you begin using your new loom. If your 8epi loom is warped too tightly, or if you remove your warp using a tool rather than cutting it off, you may encounter some bending or cracking of the teeth. Often, these issues can be repaired or worked around, so please contact me if your loom requires repair.
